The 'thumbnails' section of the site serves as a showcase for art submitted to artractiondotcom. The thumbnails page is also the easiest way to access the artists info database. To access the artist's info click on the [+] sign at the lower right hand corner of any image. The artists info database displays full size images with titles, submission numbers, and scores. Also displayed are names of the artists, location and country, website, keywords, anecdotal or descriptive notes about the individual submissions, and a contact form which makes it possible to email a message to individual artists.
Images displayed on the 'thumbnails' page are organized by competition theme. The first pulldown gives a complete list of all themes currently available for viewing in the thumbnails page. Within each competition theme images can be further organized by sorting on various criteria provided in two additional pulldown selection lists.
Images that have won prizes in the past are displayed in the thumbnails page with an orange border highlight.
After the end of the viewing period for a given competition theme expires the images are moved to the 'archive' section of the site. The archive page functions in a similar way to the thumbnails page. The archive page is accessible through the 'archive' active text link in the sidebar of all of the main artractiondotcom website pages.
